Mami Matsuura
Mami Matsuura is a pianist based in New York City. She was born in Yokohama, Japan, where she began her formal piano studies. She graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music with a degree in classical piano performance. While classical music has a special place in her heart, she has shifted her focus to performing arts music.
She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2019, where she learned jazz and other styles of music, electronic music design, and gained opportunities as an accompanist, pit musician, and music director. She was selected as a member of the Piano Department Concert and was awarded the Jazz Performance Award while at Berklee.
Her career includes a role as the Keyboard 1 for the CATS North American Tour from 2021 to 2023. She currently serves as a rehearsal pianist for Back to the Future on Broadway, and as a keyboard programming assistant at Strange Cranium. Her other past credits include Red Bucket Follies, Big Fish, The Wizard of Oz, and Poupelle of Chimney Town.
松浦麻未
ピアニスト。神奈川県横浜市出身。5 歳よりピアノを始める。桐朋学園大学音楽学部を卒業後、奨学金を獲得し米ボストン・ バークリー音楽大学に入学。ピアノ演奏のみならず、ミュージカルシアターにおけるミュージックディレクション、エレクトロニック・ミュージックデザインを学ぶ。在学中Jazz Performance Awardを受賞し、2019年に同大学を卒業。ニューヨークに拠点を移す。
2020年、⻄野亮廣原作の絵本「えんとつ町のプペル」を基に制作されたミュージカル「Poupelle of Chimney Town」オンライン公演にてピアニストを務める。自身の演奏活動も精力的に行い、在ニューヨーク日本領事館で行われた、TIC レストラングループ社⻑の八木秀次(八木秀峰・ボン)氏へ の旭日双光章、叙勲伝達式にてピアノ演奏を務める。
2021年より、アンドリュー・ロイド=ウェバー「キャッツ」全米ツアーにキーボーディストとして参加。ニューヨーク州はもとより、ラスベガス、サンフランシスコ、オーランド、ニューオリンズ、カナダのモントリオールを始めとした103都市にて、2年間公演を行う。2022年11月、自身のオリジナルソングによる初のシングル「Starry Heavens」をリリース。現在、ブロードウェイミュージカル「バック・トゥー・ザ・・フューチャー」のリハーサルピアニスト、Strange Creniumにてアシスタントキーボードプログラマーとして活動している。
